Highest sand dunes in Northern Africa.
Day 1: Arrive to Algiers
Fly to Ghardaya at 6.30pm. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Full day visit of Ghardaya
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Timimoune 600 km, an 8 hours drive, with a stop at El Golea. Dinner at hotel.
Day 4: Full day visiting Timimoune (water irrigation system) At the oasis, El Fougara, we will see the sunset in the desert. Back to the Hotel.
Day 5: Timimoune – Beni Abes (350 km 5 hours drive).
Lunch at Beni Abes, visit Father Focauld Church, and visit the oasis. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Beni Abas – Taghit (140 km 2 hours).
Visit the Old Ksar. Walk to the highest sand dune in the Algerian Desert. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Taghit / Bachar / Algiers
90 km 2 hour drive. Fly to Algers. Transfert to international airport. End of tour.

The local payment together with the tour price form the overall price of the tour. The local payment is paid in Euros cash to your tour leader on Day 1 of the tour rather than being prepaid with your tour price. In some cases this is used for a specific purpose, but in most cases it is used by the tour leader to cover a proportion of the local operating costs.
